WATER TOURS.

1. Tour to islands of Maloye Sea.

 This tour starts from Khuzhir. First, boat passes cape Burkhan - this cliff became a symbol of lake Baikal a long time ago. After that boat goes along the huge sandy spit of Sarayskiy bay which is the favorit vacationers spot. Water is warm here,and sandy bottom makes swimming even more pleasant. After going round Kharantzi Island and its grottoes our boat gets to the nearest bay with two more islands called Belenkiy (White) and Krokodilchik (Crokodil).

2. Ogoy Island.

Ogoy Island is free from negative energy of past human deeds. It is believ to be a "clean" land. A Buddhist stupa of Enlightenment and victory over all obstacles was built here in 2005.

3. The Ushkanie islands and Chevyrkui.

The Ushkanie islands are considered a famous nature wonder. Thry are situated 7 km west from Svyatoy Nos (Sacred Nose) peninsula. This archipelago has been attracting scientists and researchers and certainly tourists by its mystterious origin and original flora and fauna for a long time. These Islands host Baikal seal rookery. Chevyrkui bay is a rare (especially nowadays) corner with virgin nature, perfect for family vacations. That is a great opportunity to spend some time in a unique place far from civilization and everyday routine. You can bathe in healing hot spring, fish excitedly or just swim in a nice warm bay.

4.Hoboy cape. Eye-healing springs. This route can help you to see almost all main landscapes of Olkhon island. Cape Hoboy is the northern point of the island. It gained its severe name (from buryat "Fang") for its menacing appearance - this vertical narrow white rock ends with high charp spire straight into the sea. There is a spectacular view to Maloye and Bolshoye seas from this cape.

TOURS ON OLKHON ISLAND.

1. Cape Khoboy.

Ground tour to cape Khoboy is as interesting as water tour. Usually tourists want to the cape from both sides to compare the impressions. This tour includes Kharantzi village and Peschanaya village, Belenkiy and Krokodilchik islands, Buryat tethering post - buryat worchip place,- cape Sagan-Khusun (cape "Three Brothers"), Uzury villag on Bolshoye sea coast.

2. Southern part of Olkhon island.

Taiga and rock walls dominate on the northern part of the island, but the southern section is a kingdom of steppe and narrow and deep Tashkayskaya bay (also known as Zagli bay). This bay is guarded by tall cliffs all along the shoreline, and is the sunniest place in the entire Irkutsk region. Further on, the road brings you to cape Khorgoy - the site of ancient Kurikan settlement. This place has an outstanding view from the top of the highest hill. Stupa on Ogoy island. Stone settlement. Bay of happiness.

3. Lake Shara-Nur.

Lake Shara-Nur means "yellow lake". The lake is famous due to its location. It is situated 150 meters above the steppe and is surrounded by forest and hills. During summer time the water gets warm very fast this makes it good for swimming. But most of all Shara-Nur is famous for its healing mud that is known to cure clifferent types of ailments, especially those related to cartilage.

4. Tashkiney valley.

 This route passes by Lake Shara-Nur, descends 2 kilometers along the river, and then meets the Tashkiney valley, which leads to the Bolshoe sea.

BURYAT VILLAGE .

This trip provides an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the local people of Olkhon, the buryats, to get to know their everyday life, folklore, crafts Malomorets village lays just 4 kilometers from Khuzhir, along the road to thefery. Here you will be hosted by one of the oldest familles on Olkhon. You can try traditional dishes and beverages. There is also an outdoor musrum where you can get to know the crafts, customs, and beliefs of the buryat people. You can watch traditional buryat wrestling or even try it out.After that there will be a Buryat round dance. You can walk back to Khuzhir along the beach. You can also vizit buryat village and try traditional buryt cuisine. You should book this tour in advance to give your hosts time to prepare delicious mutton dishes - meat bukhler and blood pudding. They also serve vegetables, salad, sauce and tea with honey and gam.

HORSE-RIDING.

We can organize fishing on a big boat ("Yaroslavetz") or small boat ("Kazanka", "Progress").

TRANSFER .

Transfer is available from Irkutsk, ferry (island), Zagli bay, cape Burkhan, Sarayskiy bay to our camping hotel and back. We can also meet tourists at the airport or railway station.
